Started having trouble the time before last at the range with my XD-9 4" Service model. My groupings were ending up a bit to the right of the center. Had I been shooting left handed, I would have attributed it to trigger pull, but I was shooting right handed. So that brings me to the last time I went. I thought I was shooting bad. Now even further to the right, and it was getting worse. I slowly noticed more torque when firing and was quite relieved (and irritated at the same time) that it wasn't me or my teqnique, but rather that thew rear sight had been creeping on me. Never realized it until it was extreme. I can slide it right off the dovetail groove. I have not had any modifications done and have only shot off about 850 rounds. I have had the pistol for a month and a half now.
