Sportsmen's rights are taking a backseat to animal rights as a popular female stock car driver uses her car to promote the nation's largest anti-hunting group. Kari Miller, a short track racecar driver who competes in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series, has added a Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) sticker to her sponsor decals. Miller is promoting the group's Give Wildlife A Brake campaign. It is meant to help drivers avoid collisions with wildlife and educate them about helping injured animals along the roadside. "As with many HSUS campaigns, Give Wildlife A Brake sounds innocent, lending credibility to the organization despite its true goal of ending animal use including hunting," said U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance President Bud Pidgeon. "But sportsmen must not forget that when money is donated to a seemingly harmless HSUS program, that frees up funds for the group to invest in anti-sportsmen campaigns." Miller's also plugs anti-hunting organizations on her website, www.karimiller.com links page directs visitors to "Some of Kari's Favorite Sites" including HSUS and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The 2005 racing season kicked off May 1, and thousands of spectators and fans will see Miller's support for the HSUS every Sunday throughout the summer.

this is on her website. thousands of people brought it to her attention that she screwed up. she still has no idea, shes sides with the anti's cause she likes 1 thing they do. well when you join their ranks you support all that they do. you dont get to pick and choose what part. just like the rest of the terrorists, against animal this and that, against fishing, but take a closer look!!! they all were leather, eat meat, have leather in their cars.

That reminds me of that anti-gun country song that was out about three years ago (don't remember the name or who did it...dont listen to country, just heard it once...and it was definately anti-gun) as well as KD Lang's plea with the public to not eat beef.

Whats up with that? What kind of marketing idiot thought it would be good to tell the country music fans not to have guns or eat cattle? Trying to turn our cowboys into pussies? That **** didn't go over too well.

Same goes for the bunny-hugger NASCAR driver. I am not into NASCAR (driving on Houston freeways is enough of ******** at high speed for me, thank you) but I'd bet the NASCAR folks will be very turned off by this.

BTW, did you hear that PETA is being investigated for links and support of ecoterrorist groups?? FBI is starting to crack down on ecoextemists and think they may be getting funding and other support from PETA. Makes sense.
