If you've got a 1st, 3rd, or 5th Sunday of any month free, I highly recommend a trip to Norco to shoot in a Steel Madness match. I tried it today and I had a ball. Ron and Nora run a very friendly and fun match, and do it in a very professional and comfortable manner.

I started the day off badly by leaving my holster on the living room floor, but they set me up with a holster, belt, mag pouches and spare mags. They even had guns to loan.

The stages were fun, challenging, and ran smoothly. I want to give special thanks to Rose and Robert who stayed late to score and time two of us who joined the group late and missed the first stage when the rest of the squad went through.

Mr. Twisted,

I was reading your site a while ago and it mentioned that you do an introductory class on shooting steel competition. Is that still going on? I would be interested in doing something like that. Or is it better to just sign up for Steel Madness and partisipate straight away? I've never shot in a competition before so I wouldn't know what to expect.

Twisted here If your a pretty good shot anyway just come out. I usuall take out the new shooters myself. If you have a couple of friends that might be shy or would feel better if they took a class, we can provide that as well. E-mail us, we can set something up. WHAT EVER, THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO GET OUT AND MEET THE GREATEST BUNCH OF GUYS AND GALS IN THE SHOOTING GAME.
Next match 5/3&4th Make sure you intro yourself, we have a lot of guys form this forum float in and out. We'll have some 250 guys out that weekend for the Glock MATCH most of which I DO'NT know. It will be a good weekend to see what a national program might look like. Steel Madness is only on Sunday. More info www.ssashooter.com
