Will an XD Tactical slide work on a Service Model grip?


I haven´t found any information on this and I´m looking to buy a DV8 slide to use my duty XD40 Service pistol on USPSA and IDPA matches and I wanted to get a 5" slide.

Yes. The service/tactical use the same frames.

Yea as long as they are bothclassic versions, the mod.2 frames and slides are not interchangeable with the classic slide and frame.

The second stipulation is that each has to be small frame/slide 9mm/40sw/357sig/45gap. Or each has to be large frame/slide 45acp.
