I've got an xdm 9 that I installed the Springer Precision reduced power trigger spring and sear spring. The combination of the two reduced the trigger pull to about 4lbs.

My question is- Does the SP polished sear and trigger bar remove enough trigger travel to be worth the $120 it takes to purchase both of them?

My understanding is that you can use the factory bar with SP's sear, but SP's trigger bar can only be used with SP's sear. That being said, either way, if I got one, I would get the other.

Thanks,
Drew

It sure does i put the whole kit in my xd 45 and i greatly reduced travel id say almost by 50%....the only problem i have with mine is i feel the trigger resetting after a shots been fired i called springer and they said that its the trigger bar hitting the slide for a reset but i think i shaved off the trigger bar a little too much.. no harm though but it shoots great and breaks similar to my 1911

To reduce overtravel trigger bar to reduce pretravel you need the sear.
