There is no outside damage. Mine hasn't rusted or anything but there are constantly FTF's and mags not engaging the slide stop. I still like my xd but I just can't figure it out. I'm not going to sell it and I believe I can still make it work. I come here for some help and everyone jumps my ass. I guess I know what kind of people hang out here. Most of you are stand up guys but the few of you that called me a troll are just here to scare new people away from the shooting sports.

Out of the 5,800 or so users of this forum, you happen to be the only one that has a EVERY problem anyone has ever mentioned over the past few years (most of which had been solved with the newer models) all wrapped up in 1 gun. Starts to raise suspicion. If it's true, send the gun back!

Why am I a troll just because I have problems with a firearm. I have stated before that I want to like my XD. You assume I'm from glock talk but they treated me the same way over there. I have problems with a weapon go to the best place to find out how to fix it and this is the reception I get. Great manners!

those of us who constantly have to fix ours.

The only fixes I have ever made are (1) to not shoot bad ammo, and (2) unnecessary changes such as Don's Guide Rod and Hogue grip.

If yours is having so many problems then send it off to Springfield Armory, and maybe they will fix or replace it.

I've basically come to the conclusion that my XD is a POS.

I think it does feel cheap. The glock feels tight and the XD loose. I want to love it make me love it.

Read what you have posted and think to yourself is this what the XD community would like to hear from a newb. If you are sincere, I only suggest you come with a lighter tone.

Now if you want your gun fixed simply send it off to S.A., if you just want to bash and complain you will be probably treated the same way that you have been. Okay.

I have mixed feelings on your comments. If you have constantly had to fix yours, then you are capable person and can teach us. Short of that, what sticks in my mind is little that is quantified as wrong.
Specific problems get specific answers. Generalities get the dander up on some. Stick to one problem at a time, and it will get solved, but you have to have enough attention span to last thru the answers.
