The main character has a badars 1911 that just destroys BGs. Pretty good movie and while visiting their website I noticed the attached image on the homepage. You go Springfield Armory!!!

If you ever watch the movie "Sin City" one of the bad guys carries a stainless Springer GI. He actually gets the slide blown off and into his skull...nasty!

Another place that Springfield 1911s show up, is the tv series "Numbers." The FBI agent Colby carries a parkerized Springer Loaded, instead of the usual FBI issued Glock 23.

Also in Sin City, Clive Owen's character uses a Springfield, you can see it quite clearly as he draws in preparation for a policeman pulling him over (No, he doesn't plug the cop!)
