I realize this isnt the best place to post this, but I know it will draw attention none the less. I have a Silencerco Sparrow that has a loud first round pop. I decided to test a theory of why its so loud. I have a nitrogen bottle and pumped the silences (supressor ) full of N2. I attached a loaded mag and blew some more n2 down the barrel. I then fired and was happy to hear a very quiet report. My take on first round pop is the oxygen content in the can at the time of first firing mekes the loud pop. with purging the can of o2, the pop was gone.
fyi.
thanks friends

Drop about a teapoon of water into the supressor, shake enough to disperse water, fire the gun. No first round pop.

I have a Sparrow SS as well, pretty much most silencers have a first round pop, expelling the O2.

But like the post above says, wet it down, and no pop.

Maybe he should try exhailing into the end of the suppressor

Actually that might not be a smart idea lol
