Alright, here is another recent example of exactly what I
am talking about. Just look at the magazines in the latter
pix.

See all the stratches and mars and gouges on the mag
bodies. And this is a new machine that they belong to.
Not knocking the new owner, as the machine has not
changed, only the mags.
If they are new type mags which are going to be made by
MecGar for SA, I will say to SA, go back to the original
source of mag production. I don't like the so called new
mags and to me, they suck in comparison to the 'old type' mags.
I have many mags which are made by MecGar, all are
bluish, not chromed as the HS/XD mags are. These mags
have never given me any trouble. My beef is that the newer
mags, if they are made by MecGar, are surely going to put
egg on Mecgar's face in the short haul. None, ziltch of my
old mags, HS/XDs, have a scratch nor mar on them after
many years of use.
Come on SA, if this is the switch-er-roo that you plan on
pulling off, I for one am going to slam your ass every chance
that I get. The old mags hold up better and look one hellava
lot better. And MecGar, if you are listening up and are the
maker of the new type mags! You can do
a much better job than what is shown so far, so do it. SA, how
about getting your QC act together on these new type mags,
please.
