I've been told that Safariland makes some holsters that will fit the XDM 45 4.5in......I've been hearing that their 5in XD holsters will fit? thoughts? comments? has anyone used a safariland holster with the XDM 45?

It depends, the ALS only holster will work with the whole XD XDm series. If you need a SLS version that also has an ALS the hood can be a little tight on the XDm.

I have a couple 6320 holsters they perform great,leather lined.

My SLS ALS holster for a 5in the als system does not function with a 4.5. You can pull it right out.

I imagine you have tried to adjust it. Just ship it back, under warranty.

I dont carry my xdm on days I wear a pistol belt. if I have a pistol belt on I have my xd service. On a casual day I have my 3.8 compact my 4.5 has become my "truck gun" so no harm now fowl.
