My ex wife called me yesterday asking if I would take a look at a revolver that she bought her husband. I told her to bring it on over and Ill "look".
The gun is single action only but looks like a double action. I THINK its a Model 14-2. I dont have pics yet but I have some questions. She bought it used from a relative of his and they are really hard up for money.

The ejector is too short and when you swing the cylinder in and out, its got a stif spot. Upon further inspection, the crane/back of the cylinder is gently rubbing on the bottom of the forcing cone. It may be that the crane was replaced and the ejector as well with one that is shorter.

She doesnt want to put any money into this gun and I have a chance to get it VERY cheap. The bluing is over 90% but has a few very small rust spots. The grips are original.

Any idea if its worth fixing? I dont really want to keep it but I thought of fixing it and using it as a trade option or selling it.

Thanks
