how much does it cost to get a trigger job done at the SA custom shop, pretravel, overtravel, reset, and 4# pull.?

I looked on their web site and can not find the prices, if anyone here has had it done i would like to know the price and turnaround time.

if any one else knows any other GOOD shops that know the XD I would consider them as well.
I have already talked to canyon creek and I am leaning towards going with them. Rich sounds like a good guy to work with.

thanks for any help

I sent my XD9 Service Model to Springfield for a competition action job and had it back in my hand in exactly 3 weeks. The cost was $200 plus the charge for me to ship it to them. The change in the trigger pull, overtravel and reset is dramatic. I recommend it to anyone who wants to shoot tighter groups with their XD.

I'd like to get a Hard Chrome finish on my XD, but I noticed in that price sheet that a "Nickle Teflon finish" was available for $175.00. I've never heard of such a beast before.

Does anyone have any experience with it? Does it stack up well with the Hard Chrome finish? Other thoughts?

I think that may actually be Robar's NP3 plating. If so it's probably not as hard as hard chrome, but a lot more lubricious.

lubricious, i love that word. :)

I think it does include the sights themselves, but they're fiber optic.

It says, "Tritium sights available at extra cost."

Deb Else is the Custom Shop cordinator. I am sending in my XD Service 357 SIG in today for the XD Carry Pro Package. SA is going to do the Competition Action (Reduce overtravel and reset) at 4 - 4.5 trigger on the Carry Pro pkg. Also going to get Trijicon Night Sights. It is going to cost $355 with shipping.

Turn around time is somewhere between 6 - 8 WEEKS.... I guess I will have to play with the XD 9 SC. Really what I'm hoping for is the OD Green XD 45 Tactical to be out, I can then add one more to the collection.

That Pro-Carry package for $215... does that include the sites themselves?
anybody have any info/feedback on that package?
I had it done to my XD9SC with tritium sites for 250$

It is well worth it...the finish is superb, hopefully it will hold up well in my kydex C-tac
the 4 pound trigger is almost as sweet as my 1911
the extended mag button is long as hell though, some may not like it that long

I'm sending my XD40 Service in for the Tactical Pro package
