I recently purchased a complete Mark II lower and bolt.
Added a Hogue Grip, Mark III 22/45 Bull Barrel, and a Browning Red Dot.
This is my back up to my Custom Steel Plate Race Gun I am building.

Def got bit by the Ruger Mark BUG.

I have put over 1000 rounds down range and not one hichup
I run CCI Blazer 40g bullets
Love these little guns

Where else can you shoot all weekend for $20

I own multiple pistols but love my 22 plinkers

Nice looking guns. I never did like the tapered barrel MK pistols. The bull barrels look much better.

Sweet, the Ruger .22 is super fun and cheap gun to shoot! I'd love to have one with the built in suppressor!

It's still a MK II.

No magazine safety.
Heel type magazine release.

Taking a MK II and turning it into a MK III would be like taking gold and turning it into a turd.

Mark IIs > Mark III in my humble opinion.

The Mark III's magazine safety is a deal breaker to me, just introduces more complexity to the gun.

Mark IIs:

One can also use Tactical Solution's Mark II setups:

I've heard that the Magazine Disconnect can be removed (and replaced with a few mark II parts).....

I have a Mark III, and in my opinion the worst feature is the horribly ugly "Loaded Chamber Indicator", which looks like it was designed as an afterthought.

When observing that target pic, I am reminded of the immortal words of the elderly hillbilly in the terrific Gary Cooper 1941 epic, "Sergeant York" - "Boys, Alvin done cut the centa clean out and won hisself a beef critta!"

Good shootin', crmodels!
