I'm curious on how many round everyone has put through their XD's.
The most rounds I have through any of mine is around 2000.

I can only go by the amount of ammo I buy and have left, but then I have several arms that feed on 9mm ammo, so it's like an all you can eat buffet. Only way to be sure is to keep a record of how many rounds you shoot. Something I don't do at all.
Just a guess, but my Tactical will be about 1,000 and my V10 Service about 500? not too sure. :?
I had a .22 rifle that I shot for 25 years and if I think about it maybe a few bricks a year? so...........25,000 rounds or more? who knows? 8)

I put about 15,000 rounds through my old XD-9 Service and it is still my primary carry. In addition I shot about 750 rounds through the new XD-9 Service and 1500 throught the new XD-9 Tactical. I go through 300 to 500 rounds per range session easy.

How the heck do you guys keep track?
I mean yeah, a new I can keep a count to a point (my new CETME is about 100 rounds that's all I bought so far), but buy the end of the IPSC season the best I can do is to count the empty bullet boxes next to my bench @500 per box. At the end of this year I had loaded about 3500 rounds, and shot most of them. When I was in to varmint hunting, I would keep all the spent primmers in a quart jar, and compare it to the year before. It takes a lot to fill a quart jar.
So do you guys need to shoot more, or am I shooting to much :? .

and some days I am happy as can be to shoot a box of 50

if you could call back all the bullets and police up all your spent cases, do you think you can fill a 50 gallon drum? a pick up truck bed? a dumpster?

I know how many cases of 9mm I have bought and how many I still have full. I also know how much of a case I bring home from the range with me when I shoot. It is easy to keep an approximate count . I shoot the dickens out of my guns and have to buy ammo in 10K round lots every three to four months .
