Wandered into our local farm supply store, Farm & Fleet (also called Fleet & Farm in other midwestern states). They have Remington UMC on sale.

9mm 50 box ???g Metal Case $6.99 (reg. $7.99).
.40 50 box 180g Metal Case $7.99 (reg. $8.99).

Regular price is excellent, I think????.
The had some other cals too. I don't know a thing about this ammo but I do know it's cheaper than the $19.93 I just paid for .40 WWB 100 round last week at Walmart. My local store only had 7ea. boxes left so I cleaned them out.

Sale good thru 10/16

EDIT:
Sorry about that, I'm not sure on the 9mm grain. Take it easy on a rookie.

I can honestly say that I have never heard of 180g 9mm before, particularly in a factory round...
Ouch! That could hurt to shoot, especially when falls out of the barrel and lands on your foot.

I've never heard of it either - but I would guess it's subsonic. I've heard of .40 180g, and dare I say - the ever glorious 10mm in 180g (meant for masterfog, of course).

The farm and fleet near me have the UMC for $5.99

and Wally World charges $12.22 w/tax for WWB 100 valupacks of 9mm. Was the 20 bucks for .40 cal ammo?

hmm, wonder if Walmart has different regional pricing, I just picked up WWB 100 in .40 yesterday for $13.95+tax here in Dallas..

Yes they do. Tractor Supply, Farm & Fleet, Target, Meijer's all do as well.

I've edited all my errors, thanks for pointing them out to me. I'm not sure what the grain was on the 9mm and the WWB 100 I paid $19.93 for at Wally World was .40.
Looks like regional pricing is all over the board. It's still the best factory load price I've found around my parts.

what deals! They didn't have hardly any .40 so I just picked up some .357 for a bargain price. CCI blazer (Al casings) 158gr. .357 mag JHP for 10.49/50 rounds! Needless to say, I picked up a few boxes :)

update. CCI blazer .357 blows ass. After shooting it in my taurus I learned that it is terrible. They go into the chambers easily enough, but ejecting them is a chore. They must expand quite a bit and really grab onto the inside parts of the chambers. Don't buy these for use in a revolver.
