Well, my wife and I took a trip to Seattle recently, and I decided to apply for a WA non-resident CPL while in town. My sister-in-law lives in Anchorage, AK and my wife and I have been taking regular trips to Alaska over the past year. Seattle is a regular layover point on the flights, so I figured I would cover my bases. I have a Texas CHL, but it isn't recognized in WA. It only took me two weeks to receive my CPL in the mail. I am impressed. I was expecting it to take a month or two. Woohoo!

Congrats. Given how liberal the state's leaders are, we have surprisingly good gun laws.

In Washington State, the concealed carry permit is officially known as a 'CPL', or' Concealed Pistol License'. So does that mean I can't carry a revolver? :)
