I just got my XD9 sc. Anyways, After the mags have been loaded and carried awhile it sounds like one of the bullets starts rattling aournd in there. Usually the problem is solved by removing the mag (if its in gun) and banging the back of it against my hand a few times.

Is this normal? I know its not a huge problem just a minor pain in the @$$. Any permanent fixes? Will it go away as the springs break in?

what he said.

No known fix, but the problem is most likely the follower kicking a little sideways which allows the last round to rattle a little against the side of the mag. On my full size, the std capacity mags are the only ones that seem to do this not the 10 rd ones. I suspect it may have something to do w/ the spring being so tight against the follower that it causes the follower to pinch between the bullet and the spring and forces it to kick a little sideways.
