I got back out to the range with my XDM .45 the other day and put another 100 rds thru it. I had 1 misfeed, but it was on the first round of a magazine, and I suspect it may have been my fault.

I didn't shoot too well. I was firing low on about half of my shots. I would shoot a mag of 5 rds, put about 2-3 rds in a 3" black circle, and then trhow the others low. I have a couple of ideas why, and am going to try a few things next time to see if I can correct it.

I had a blast shooting, though!!

Most of the time, shooting low (and probably to the left) is due to the grip. It took me three times of range shooting to finally get the grip right!
Now with my 1911 R1, I was dead on from the start!:D
