I've been looking at Glocks for awhile and they're a bit too large for my hands... My finger doesn't quite hit the trigger where I'd like it to. So I did some research and liked what I saw with the XD. I went and handled one at a local shop and it fits perfectly in my hand. My only complaint is the Parkerizing. From pictures, I like the look of the "bi-tone" but I have some questions:

Is the "bi-tone" plated or solid stainless?

Do they make a 5" bi-tone in .40SW or 9mm?

Liam, you'll love the XD. I too find Glocks uncomfortable.
As far as I know, the bi-tone slides are unfinished stainless meaning there's no plating on them. My slide was gouged/scored yesterday. There doesn't appear to be any plating underneath.
I just checked out Springfield's website and they only have the 5" bi-tone in 45GAP. You will have to settle for black or OD Green if you want a 5" 9 or 40.
