Greetings all, I'm new to this forum and a proud owner of a tactical model in .40cal. I've put about 500 rds. through it but have noticed a very slight primer wipe on every rd. It almost looks like a glock primer strike. Any suggestions or observations would be appreciated. or should I not be concerned? :?:

Normal, don't worry about it.

I own about 15 different semi-auto pistols, including 4 XD's, and they all have primer swipe to some degree. It's caused by the slide starting to unlock, which causes the barrel and chamber to move, before the firing pin has fully retracted. It's a normal occurance in this type of firearm.

Hope this helps.

Fred
