Hey all,
I have been reading posts on the Federal Hydra-Shok and the Winchester Supream SXT, Wich is better? Are they both quality ammo. I did pick up a box of each and they are a bit pricey 16-17 bucks but i have not fired any yet, any insight would be great!! thanks

My vote would go to Hydra-Shock :D , but thats just me. Try them both and pick the one that works best for you. If they are the same, try the cool factor, if that dosen't work flip a coin, you cann't go wrong with either.

165 grain on both of them, Are the SXT the "former" black talons?
Very similar design, but not exactly.

Whichever is reliable and accurate. If they both are, pick by price. Personally I would use a lighter bullet than 165 but they are good!

black talons were taken of the market because of propoganda, the sxt are better designed than the talons

back in the day, talons were known as cop killers, but so is all rounds, if you want talons out of a round, check out taurus new HP or the cor bon dpx HP..just nasty
