Question about the XDm 5.25...

Hi. Dejavu. I was discussing this at BE and took out my caliper this afternoon.

My blade is exactly .143" and the FO dot is .087".

I beleive there are some replacement sites on the market that are .1" at the blade.

Nice, thanks! I was just wondering how big it was in relation to the .115 on my G34. So when I get the 5.25 I'll probably be ok swapping out the FS for a .125.

I don't like the front sight too thin.

Just for kicks and giggles since you got me thinking, I decided to check my BHP and my SLP and my BHP is .125. My SLP is .09. Amazing how much difference .018 makes.

Hmmmm now I am thinking to file off .009 per side to exactly match my BHP.... Probably be better to just continue shooting with a 6 o'clock hold.

I use the .125 for IDPA and the .100 for USPSA.
