Figured this was the best place to post this question. I use Hoppe's No. 9 on my gun with a tooth brush and then leave it sit for a few moments and then I used to spray it down with Break Free Powder Blast to get the dirt/grime off the gun. However, I've had a person or two mention that maybe the Break Free is a bad idea for use on a polymer gun.

I guess my question is do you agree? And if so, what do you use to clean off your XDs after putting on the initial solvent/cleaner?

I have not used it, beacuse I´m afraid it will damage the frame, the label in the can says a lot of warnings about using it on rubber and other components..
