Have now installed the PRP spring kits in both of my XDs's (9 & 45)
While I was in there I did a light fluff and buff on the trigger bar.
Trigger pull weight on both guns dropped about 2 lbs from stock and all the rough, gritty feel is gone.
I installed TFO sights on both guns last week, so now they are ready for EDC.

How did you remove your old sights?

How did you remove your old sights?

Removed the old sights using this tool:
Universal Hand Gun Sight tool - Home - El Cajon, CA
I have the gunsmith set. I applied some penetrating oil to the sights and let the slides sit overnight. Using the above tool, they "walked" right out of the slide. I carefully fitted the new sights before installing with the same sight tool, being very careful to get the sights centered. (There are marks on the slide to help.)
I dislike using big hammers or swinging small hammers really hard.
