Thanks! Yes, the new one will probably also get some upgrades. I need to get to the range to check out the new trigger, but I'll probably do sights, trigger, slide refinish, and talon grips on the new one, too

Nice lookin' kids there...Love my shield as well...

Now go shoot them both at the same time. It's fun but completely useless

Doubt my range will let me literally do that, but I definitely plan on a before and after shoot to see if it's worth it to do an apex upgrade on my no safety version.

I really like the Tru Glos. I will be putting a set of them on the other Shield. I never got around to putting a set on my Xdm, as it currently has a TLR 4.

Just got done installing the rest of the APEX kit. Took the opportunity to give the pistol a good scrub and polish the trigger bar with a little Flitz. Kit dropped the trigger pull by about 1 pound. Biggest difference is that the pull is much smoother. I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to do one for my no safety version. I plan on hitting the range tomorrow to shoot some rounds with each.
