Has anyone used the Prolix Total Gun Care system? If so, what are your thoughts?

Also, I use Hoppe's #9 and Outers Gun Oil on my XD...even though I usually put a LIGHT coat on metal parts, after a few days, the oil seems to thicken into gunk. Anyone have that problem with their gun oil? Could it be the non-tenifer finish on the XDs?

TRY TO GET YOUR HANDS ON SOME TW-25. IT COMES IN SEVERAL SIZES AND APPLICATION METHODS. ITS THE GREATEST STUFF ON EARTH, IMHO.

Eezox is my favorite lube for guns. It's a liquid that drys and hardends on the surface of your gun (inside and out). There is no better rust protectant out there. It is also a very good lube and cleaner (CLP).

If you want to stay with conventional oil type lubes, the afore mentioned FP-10 and TW-25 grease are definatly at the top of the list. Also, look into Corrosion X Aviation. I have used this as well and it is a supperior CLP type product.
