Just some pics of the ol' S&W mod 59 with the 30 rounder in and the xd with the same mag. I like the S&W look better than the XD.
The one on top is the useless attack cat i bought him thru a FFL with a $200 tax for class 3 weapon and he does nothing but sleep and eat. what a waste of money!

How does the ole S&W 59 shoot? any premature slide lock before the magazine is empty? Just wondering because I have experienced that event several times with my 459 and my friend's dads Nickel 59.

yup have to adjust the opening on the top of the mag. too narrow or too wide and i get lots of jams. as for premature slidelock only had it happen a few times. Its a good gun, my dad handed it down to me for christmas and it was my first! i was such a virgin then. well, i guess i still am. It shoots nice but im still getting used to the sights, my dad shoots better with it than me.
