Its used, but from what the guy says, and how it looks, seems to be in good shape. Its a Christmas present for my Granddad, he had one back when he was young and still in Bolivia. He has wanted one ever since, I'm sure he will like it, and ill enjoy shooting it too!

Lever guns are awesome. This week I am getting my grandfather's Winchester Mod. 94 .30-30 that was made in 1949. Make sure you take this one out first to make sure it shoots straight!

Nice rifle...my dad has one identical to it.

Ok, its no Winchester 94, but truth be told...the 336 Marlin is usually more accurate than the 94 Winchester. At least thats my expereince. I own a early 60 made 94 Winny and it won't group like Dad's 336 Marlin. The 94 Winny is definately more of a collectors piece, but theres no denying that Marlins are great for hunting.

I own two Marlins...one in 357 and one in 44 mag. Dad has a 336 30-30 and a 1895 in 45-70. Yep...we love Marlin leverguns around here!
