I have had a couple different Phantom flash hiders and have shot a 16" middy with the Comp Brake. Overall, the Phantom stuff is the same good quality you'd expect from YHM products, but the Comp Brake...as far as being an effective muzzle brake...it isn't. It is still an excellent flash hider...just not much of a true "brake."
I have switched several of my rifles to the PRI/MSTN QCB Brake which is not as good a flash hider as the Phantom, but is arguably the best brake available right now. The noise is not near what most other muzzle brakes on the market have and the perceived recoil reduction and ability to keep you on target is outstanding. The only downside to the CQB brake is that it is expensive compared to other models at around $75 or so.
