I've held one, but never shot one. Like most pistols this size (not that there are many) it's just too pudgy feeling for me.

My mom's fiancee packs a Hawg 9. I have shot it a few times. It is definately "pudgy". Shoots pretty good, nice trigger. Just doesn't feel like there is enough grip in my medium sized hand. My mom has an older Para carry sized single stack .45 and it shoots great and there is more grip available. I do hear that the Para mags can be problematic, but never experienced that myself. I prefer the plasti-gats right now... when I finish going though puberty and start making the big dough, I'll get me a nice Para LDA carry.

That para is like riding a moped, it's fun until your friend's see ya.

there was one at a local gunshop that was, and still is in there close to a year now. it was very reasonably priced and was NIB. i wonder if that is any indication of something?

I had one, and traded it for my XD9SC. I found the grip a little too thick for my stubby little fingers. Shoots fine, but the grip is uncomfortable.
