Painting bullet tips

Hey guys, few questions about painting the tips of .223 bullets for identification purposes.

1. What paint would you recommend?

2. What is the best way of applying it?

3. Would the extra weight potentially change the POI or accuracy of the round?

I was thinking of marking different weight rounds as well as different style rounds with varying colors for instant identification. Thanks for the info in advance.

Why not mark the base of the case with different color sharpies. Many reloaders do it this way.
I guess just because when I look down at a full mag it is just easier for me to see the bullet than the base of the casing. But that is also an option.

Any permanant marker will do. Just one line on the,on the bullet or the brass of the top round of the mag is all that's needed. Pick up a multicolored pack of sharpies and designate a color for each load.
I, use the sharpies they work great and come off easy in the tumbler.

Just curious as to how many different weight bullets you have, and why?
