Anyone ever seen a Kata bag? There's a company in Israel called Kata They make bags for video equipment and also military products. One thing they make are bags that sling over the shoulder, that has a quick open zipper and holster for a gun inside. It can be seen in their Catalog on the last few pages.

Are there other companies making similar bags? I can't seem to find anyone in the states selling these bags.

I just wanted to put in my $.02 on the wildernes safepacker. I have one and love it. I go hiking in the national forest with it all of the time. it does not look like a holster at all. it just looks like a wierd rectangular pack on your hip. it is nicely padded but not overly so. how's this, i hike with my $1000 Kimber in it and do not worry about slinging my packaround with it on the waste band when putting pack down or anything.

While I have carried it around town, i have better holsters for that, but it you wanted to walk around in a bathing suit with a nylon belt and no shirt, this thing would conceal a gub. if anyone asks tell them you have diabetes and no one will think twice. i know tons of diabetics that carry fanny packs and the like.

I have one of the Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack and it is very nice. All of Maxpedition's gear is very well made from quality material. I liked the Versipack so much I have there Operator Tactical Attache on order to use for work when I need to carry my laptop and larger items.

I have carried my XD-40 in my Jumbo versipacka a few times. You have to purchase the optional holster but it's relatively cheap. The cool thing is the holster will work in both the versipack and the attache.

Some pictures of my XD-40 Service in my Versipack

March 14 when Ohio Concealed Carry Laws change so I do not have to openly wear my CCW when in my vehicle I will be using my versipack to conceal carry a lot more.

Could we get some pics from different angles?

Could you expand on the law change. . . maybe include a link?

If you want more pictures of the inside or some view not show on their website let me know what you want and I will see what I can do.
