I have had my XD (also first hand gun) for about 3 months!!
I would estimate 3500 rounds total in 6 sessions at a few diffrent ranges.

At first I had NO grouping
With a bit of time I was becoming more proficient.

I went to the range on sat with some NEW rounds (federal HYDRA)
Had to be SHURE they would feed i MY XD!!
They did!!! Then using range amo from MAGTECH, I was able to get NICE groups for me anyhow (everyone was new once)


NOW to the point!
I was about 1/2 way through my amo
loaded up a new target and got the suprise of my life!!!!
(I AM VERY PROUDE OF THIS)

nice shot.... now, if you can remember exactly how you were holding the gun, and exactly how you pulled the trigger then you can make all your shots like that .

WELL I thank you all for the complements.

and I just buy the shoot-n-see targets at my local range.
It may be 50cents more per 10 pack but I look at it as extra $$ for the range of my choise! keeps them in biz.

Now here's the challanging part: put between 4 and 9 more in a cloverleaf around that one

My buddy who is an excellent shot did something pretty cool. He took a spent 12 gauge shell and put the brass side facing him (it was horizontal) and backed up about 15 feet. He then proceeded to shoot a 9 mm FMJ through were the primer should be. Maybe I can get it and post a photo.
