Picked up a WWB 100 round value pack and went to the range Thursday P.M. with my new XD9 Service model. The gun shot excellent and accurate. I loaded 10 rounds per mag each time and switched out training targets with each mag to better guage my, and the gun's performance. No issues whatsoever with the gun from start to finish..perfect through 100 rounds. .

I used an XD9 in a training class a few years ago. I was amazed at the shots I was making by the end of the day. Practice practice practice. I thought I was familiar with my XD until I really put it through the ringer we fired over 1000 rounds that day and when the fatigue set in about 6 hrs in I found myself not gripping right and not engaging the grip safety Fully. Great lesson learned. Now when I go to the range we do some "range games". We do pistils between mags or use an old school grip trainer between mags. Really helps to develop good habits.
