Bought it at gun show last weekend. Had to buy it after already owning XD40 4" service model. Only put 100 rounds of Winchester 165gr FMJ thru it, and 1 magazine of Golden Sabers...very pleased with its performance (flawless) and accuracy. My new concealed carry of choice, due to its small size and comfort combined with Kydex Paddle holster.

I've shot the xd 40 service model. I'm looking at buying the sub compact model. what is the difference in the recoil between the service model and the sub compact.

You may notice slightly more muzzle flip with the subcompact. I noticed it, but it did not affect me as far as accuracy is concerned, or in any other way adversely.
