Just received my XD 40 cal. Been shooting the Ruger 345 for the past year and half. I tell you the XD made me clean and lock the Ruger away.
Shot 4in groups out the box. Don't know how post pics but will try later.

Welcome from Milton, FL. I love my XD firearms and my XD 40 SC is my daily carry weapon of choice. I also own a Ruger P345 and wouldn't give it up for anything. It has never failed and is a real tack driver, no less accurate than either of my XDs. I simply like the feel of my XD firearms better. If all I had was my Ruger I would have no problem it is an excellent firearm at least mine is. However I rather have my XDs any day.
