Sounds familiar - day late and a dollar short. I bought my XDM-40 a week after they ended the last free mag offer. Oh well, it didn't break my heart or change my attitude towards SA. Besides it came with two. I did buy one extra mag from Midway, not that I needed it, I wanted one mag in the pistol and both slots filled in the nice storage case.

When i bought a USED 1911 compact that only came with 2 magazines, they first class mailed tools to disassemble the gun for free!!!! They didn't ask for serial number nor did they ask if i was the original owner. They mailed it for freeeeeee with no questions asked. If that ain't world-class customer service then I don't know what is.

Too funny, I clicked to reply to this thread and the advertisement for the promotion is at the top of the page. I actually read all 17 pages, and got some good laughs over it. After reading the OPs responses and clarification of his unique experience of which he paid for the gun before the promotion began and received the gun once the promotion began, I'm curious to see how SA handles this.

Let's go on the FLIP side of this! I bought a M-6 USED, had an issue with the trigger guard being loose, not only did they fix the trigger guard, they REFINISHED THE WHOLE GUN!

The reason I BOUGHT my XD Tactical was the company's willingness to BACK their work! I have owned a plethora of Glocks, and each dealing with "Glock Perfection" attitude was enough for me... Hence. SA XD.

(shrugs) Sounds like sour grapes to me.
