New to the forum and have a question on my 5" .45 GAP. Coming from a .40 G27 I noticed my .45 shoot high when I line up the front sight. At about 40' I have to be aiming at the bottom of the target to get a pattern closer to the center. With the Glock I would always be able to come pretty close if I lined the sight a little to the right of the center. Is this normal and has anyone else had the same problem?
I am not a target shooter but do try to get to the range once or twice a month and I do have to wear tri-focals all the time. With the 27 I managed to compensate, now I'm not sure whether it's me or the .45.

yeah, it is normal. Check the manual and you will see that it is set up for the 6 o'clock method of aiming. Though, my XD9 is dead on with front sight on target. It boils down to the user and the gun. You just have to get used to which guns do what.
