Yeah, if @Texas40 's has the target-style front sight, his is a 3-T.

Doesn’t look like yours is, @Hollow Point .

Still a really nice piece, though. Run either exclusively jacketed or exclusively lead rounds, and stay with 158’s instead of hot 125’s, and it'll go forever.

It would have been cool to have a 3T. But, I am still more than happy with it. It's going to be shooter, so 158s should serve that purpose well. I do like running the hot 125s in my 66 4". It's a little bit of a flame thrower. Got them from my uncle many years ago. He has reloaded for 60+ years and retired from the ballistics section of the FBI.

My cousin and I were at an indoor 6 lane range 30 some years ago. The other 5 lanes were being used by LEOs. When I stared shooting the 66 with my uncle's rounds, the range went silent except for me. All the LEOs wanted to know what I was shooting and if the could get some. Luckily, my cousin had brought an ammo full of the hot 125s and allowed all the LEOs to grab some and try. They all wanted some to carry in their duty guns, as they were still carrying wheel guns at the time. It was just before most departments switched to pistols.

Yep, that’s a target front sight.

Well heck Ill say this on a nickel revolver in the bright sun with almost 60yr old eyes for a target sight (or anything else) it SUCKS. Cant see the dam thing half the time.
    Love the gun
    Love shooting it
As long as its early or later in day.
Benn thinking I need to color the front edge of it so I can SEE it.
