I have been a Ruger person most of my "Gun Life". Traded into an XD45 a couple of years ago and traded it away to a close friend for something else. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and my friend still has the XD45 and I started taking another look at it. I decided it was worth looking into getting one and I found one close to home at a good price (I think). XD45 4" service model with 2-13rd mags and took it to the range last week. Very nice and really liked the way it shot, so I came home and ordered a custom leather holster from CB Leatherworks in Moody, Al. Waiting for the holster to show up so I can retire my Ruger P90. Manufacture date according to S/A is October 2013.
