OK took the pf9 out for the first time. Shot 50 124gr lead TC tumble lube reloads at 1147fps. Once I got used to the DA trigger it was pretty accurate at 7 yds but I was getting keyholes on about 1/2 rounds. Anybody ever have this problem?
These same reloads shoot very accurate and no keyholes in a 5" and 4" XD.

You slug the bbl? Undersized bullets are notorious for keyholing.

Haven't slugged the barrel yet. I did, just for the heck of it tried to push a bullet through the barrel, it was too tight to push with just my hand, not even a bit.

Yeah, you might want to try shooting them unsized. It's the issue w/ lead in many 9mm, the bore sizes are all over the place. If the lead bullet is soft enough & not pushing too hard, you might get a .0356 bullet to bump up & shoot better. Can I assume you are using a mild taper crimp? Over crimping can swage the bullet down & cause instability.

Yea I'm barely crimping, just enough to ensure good feeding. I'll give the unsized bullets a try.
