i've heard good things bout Hornady's plain jane ammo, only that it's kinda expensive.....but thats cuz they're all "custom" made bullets etc.
not so much spit out by the thousands ?

The PD line is brand new. The bullets are based off of the XTP line of hollow points. If you want the original Hornady TAP line...go here http://www.northwestloading.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=1_72.

Ive bought some for the .223 in 75 grain for long range work. For my pistols I still rely on Winchester Ranger T mostly. The XTP bullet works well for hunting in my .445 Supermag however....so I dont think there is anything wrong with them either.

I cna't speak to their pistol offerings but my Tikka T3 in .308 loves their 165 gr. BTHP loads.

The TAP loads are suppose to have Powders that have almost no muzzle flash. That way when you shoot an intruder in your house at night you are not blind and can follow the first shot with a quick Double Tap!
