Hi all,

Just recently got into 3-gun shooting, & running a 1911 right now. I'm really into the rife and shotgun stuff and shoot those parts well. Not so much with the pistol though. Running a 1911 right now, and would like to get a 9mm auto to cut down on reloads. Been looking at lots of guns, but keep coming back to the XDM. Here to learn more before making a buy.

Are you a Duck or a Beaver? I'm just down in Salem, I would love to hear more about where and when you do your 3-gun shooting. I will also say that any Springfield xd or xdm would preform greatly, I would strongly consider the 4 inch or 5 inch xd 9mm, the money you save over getting the xdm will buy an awful lot of ammo and the xd's shoot so very well that I do not believe the M is worth the extra money.
