+1 on that. Also a lot of customization pictures in that thread.

I have a .40 EMP and I love it. It has the sweetest trigger of any gun I own. It was originally going to be my EDC bit I've since moved to an XDm 3.8 9mm for EDC.

If you have any issues with the pistol Springfield is quick (usually about 10 day turnaround) to fix and they will ship both ways at their expense.

Keep an eye on the rear sight. Mine came loose (9mm) on the second day of shooting. Might want to make sure that allen screw is tight.

Congrats on a great pistol.
I've only had mine a few weeks. It shoots well but after about 250 rounds I noticed the grip screws becoming loose. After I tightened them and they seem to be fine. I used FMJ for the first 400 rounds but will start using HP on the next trip to the range.
