Recently trade my 9mm Service for a .40SC. Since I put on the Crimson Trace it created challenges in finding holsters, so I decided to try making some Kydex. It's pretty fun to work with. Easy to make your piece, harder to make it look good.
I made one of the small trigger guards and a full size pocket holster.
I still have to do some fine sanding, but I'm pretty happy with the results.

I even used the kydex to help my 8th grader make an egg drop project!

No, I live in MD. Needed something for around the house, and really wanted to keep the trigger covered but have the gun ready fast.

Hah. That's awesome! Although that XD sure looks funny with that laserguard on there. They're a great idea, it just looks a little odd :D

I have two of my guns with the LaserGuards. They do change the look at first, but you get used to it. They would look funny to me without it now.

One thing I know for sure, the BG won't be laughing if I red dot his chest in the dark of the night.
