I recently posted that my wife wanted to get her CCW.
Yesterday we went out to the range and rented some guns to see what she liked. She wanted something small that would fit in her bag. We tested the baby glock, Sig 232, XDSC, Kahr omong others.

The Kahr was a pos.
The Glock was a nice gun but she couldnt hit with it for some reason.
She liked the Sig and the XD.
We ended up getting the XD9SC. She loves it and now I am kind of sorry I didn't get it instead of the 4". It is way more concealable than mine is and has almost the same feel. I guess we just need a Tactical now to round out the set.

I got my dad to test-shoot a range rental XD SC this weekend. I'm not surprised he liked it, it's just a cut off version of my 4" - everything's the same and it's so easy to shoot after putting near 1000 rnds through my 4".

I often think it would have been better luck for me to have a sub and then the Tactical.

Last summer, I bought my first XD the ported 9mm 4" service model. I thought to myself, "whhhooo weeee, thatsa nice pistola!". Then the following week, I saw the rare and deadly XD Tactical 9mm and I said to myself, "whhhooo weeee, thatsa nice pistola!". Got 2 pistols in about a weeks time
I still like the ported service, but I like the idea of the smaller one too.

Sounds like you just need one more to round out the set too. Tempting isn't it?
