Saw the XD .45 ACP on the cover of G&A. Haven't been following gun market for a few months... has anyone tried it? I'm feeling a little temptation to visit the gun store...

Several have the XD-45 and have only said good things.

I liked the G37 in 45GAP that I shot. It's a good round and the holey end looks intimidating! :twisted:

I have both a tactical gap and a service model gap. I have been reloading the Ammo so I can afford to shoot it. I like them both the tactical is my new limited 10 gun and the service is my new CCW. Both pistols have run flawlessly with what ever type of mag I use so I cant ask for more. The recoil is a little stiff but you get used to it.

the 45 gap is hard to come by right now at least in my town none of the ffl can get them. also isnt ammo really scarce right now , ajames what ammo do you use for ccw and target shooting. i hate to ask stupid questions but i really want one of these

My FFL said the XD 45 GAP will be here Tuesday. That is less than a week from order to shipment.

I am selling mine for $425.00 If i can find someone local interested in it. Don't want to have to go through the shipping hassle and not really agressive about selling it. I THOUGHT I could shoot it in CDP class for IDPA, Found out it is ESP, I have a .40 I use for ESP. Less recoil more rounds, many argue .40 being smaller but alittle faster pretty much equals bigger but slower .45. SO, with that I am having a hard time justifying having the gun gather dust in my safe. I am one of those if I don't shoot it ALOT, why have it.

ANYWAY, the same kit they are asking $699 for, I don't recall what I paid exactly but I know the kit was less than $500. Had no intrest in the holster anyway, I do not like it.

Not trying to sell my gun in this post but point out that both prices seem awefully high to me. I have had mine about a month . . . .
