know the weakest part of a car window? the edge. catch the edge of the window wrong with your knife and next thing you know you'll be taking apart the door panel to vacuum out the broken glass and calling the auto glass company and you'll still have a dull knife.

Agreed. The bottom of a coffee mug works just as well, with virtually no risk of collateral damage.

Pretty crafty. These are things I must remember though. Same effect as using a ceramic rod.

My damn blur refuses to take an edge with anything though....

Yep! I have done this in the past...and I would rather buy a new coffee cup than a car/truck window......
