Just wondering. I am still new in IPSC and in the last match I was in, there was a series of pepper poppers in a row(one behind another). I was trying to speed fire through them but the 9mm ammo I was using just didnt knock them down fast enough.

So, if I am going to be running into stages with steels, what 9mm loads would work well? I know that 9mm is limited on how well it works with steels, but I was looking for some opinions from experienced shooters.

I use 147gr factory American Eagle, and 147gr reloads. No problem knocking the pepper poppers down AS LONG as you hit them in the sweet spot. Hit low and you'll be there all day. As long as they are calibrated correctly, they should fall.
