My muffs are very old and the foam inside has deteriorated over the years. My ears have been ringing for over 15 years now so I'm somewhat used to that. When I went to the range the other day there were times when it was actually painful when other shooters were firing their cannons. I wear the yellow foam inside-the-ear things with my muffs over the top of them. I take the muffs off during none-firing times at the range so I can hear others talk. I'm wondering what you guys use for high-quality hearing protection. Looking for make/model recommendations if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I use a pair of Leightning's (NRR 31) when I go to the indoor range and Silencio Magnum's when I shoot local USPSA matches. The Leightning's are quieter, but the Silencio's don't shift on my melon during stages.
